Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Measure distances to verify dimensions of installations.
• Verify levels, alignment, and elevation of installations.
• Observe work in progress to ensure procedures and materials conform to specs.
• Prepare samples of materials for lab testing.
• Examine workmanship for conformity to standards and approve installations.
• Interpret plans and discuss deviations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Record quantities of materials and develop pay estimates and change orders.
• Maintain daily log of construction and inspection activities.
