Job summary

Stantec seeks Senior Construction Inspectors to join the Transportation team in Virginia or Maryland, focusing on field inspection and QA/QC for roadway and bridge projects. You will work under supervision on average-sized projects, coordinating with contractors and clients to ensure compliance with plans and contracts.

The role requires a technical degree and 7+ years of experience, with VDOT certifications and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect roadway, structure and bridge construction projects of varying complexity.
• Coordinate inspections with contractor, client personnel and stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and documentation for pay estimates and project milestones.
