Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Compliance Specialist to ensure all highways, rail, vessel, and air transport activities meet federal, state, provincial, and local rules.

You will provide regulatory guidance and partner with operations, safety, legal, and leadership teams to strengthen compliance across the organization. The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and travel of about 10–20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of transportation/compliance experience.
• Valid driver's license and passport or ability to obtain one.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on transportation compliance to operations, sales, facilities, and training teams.
• Interpret and implement transportation policies and procedures.
• Serve as subject matter expert on federal, state, provincial, and company regulations.
• Support investigations and corrective actions for transportation incidents.
