Job summary

Acrisure is seeking an experienced Transportation Adjuster - Property Damage to manage claims involving commercial auto, trucking, and transportation exposures. Investigate, evaluate, and settle or reserve responsibly to support timely resolution.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in commercial transportation claims and strong APD knowledge, with cargo claims experience beneficial. This role requires excellent organization, judgment, and client relationship skills in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

7+ years of commercial auto, trucking, or transportation claims handling experience.
Strong experience handling complex commercial transportation property damage and liability claims.
Strong knowledge of APD claims processes.
Understanding of commercial auto and trucking insurance principles, including coverage, liability, and settlements.
Experience in a TPA environment.
Experience managing claim inventories with quality, productivity, and regulatory standards.
Comfortable working in a virtual or remote environment.
Multi-jurisdictional experience beneficial.
Cargo claims experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

Investigate and manage APD, property damage, and related liability claims involving commercial transportation exposures.
Evaluate coverage, liability, damages, reserves, and settlement opportunities.
Handle claims involving specialized motor coach and trucking programs.
Review complex or escalated matters and develop timely resolution strategies.
Maintain claim diaries, reserves, and file activity throughout each claim.
Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements across jurisdictions.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
Communicate with clients, insureds, claimants, vendors, and attorneys as needed.
Negotiate settlements and support efficient, accurate claim resolution.
