Job summary

Ardurra seeks a Project Manager Highway/Roadway Engineer to join our Transportation team in Miami, FL. The successful candidate will manage a variety of transportation design projects, developing contract plans, specifications and estimates for construction.

Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering (ABET), 10+ years of post-licensure experience, and proficiency with Microstation and OpenRoads Designer. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of post-licensure experience in transportation design.
• Proficient in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer; able to supervise staff.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills.
• Strong analytical, time management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline transportation design projects from concept to final design.
• Develop contract plans, specifications and cost estimates.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities of engineers, designers and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with design criteria and standards.
• Support project execution, including scope, budget and schedule.
• Provide marketing and business development support.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
