Ardurra Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer to join our Transportation team in Florida offices (Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Tallahassee, or West Palm Beach).

The role focuses on design and supervision of roadway projects, producing contract plans, specs, and estimates, and guiding project delivery. The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited), 10+ years in transportation design, proficiency with Microstation/OpenRoads Designer, and strong communication and

Qualifications

• BSCE (ABET-accredited) required.
• 10+ years post-licensure experience in transportation design.
• Proficiency in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer; ability to supervise technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs multi-discipline transportation engineering design including evaluating alternatives and producing preliminary and detailed design
• Provides technical guidance to ensure compliance with design criteria and standards
• Develops contract plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Assists with project scope, budget, and schedule development
• Leads day-to-day activities and coordinates engineers, designers, and technicians on projects
• Performs quality control on design calculations, models, drawings, reports, and estimates
• Supports marketing and business development efforts
• Coordinates with clients, discipline leads, subconsultants, regulatory agencies, and utilities.
