Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of solid organ and BMT pre-transplant and post-transplant processes.
• Experience with referral, precertification, prior authorization and financial clearance requirements.
• Ability to interpret insurance coverage eligibility and transplant contracts.
• Strong documentation, accuracy and communication with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate financial clearance for transplant-related services from intake through status determination.
• Verify insurance eligibility and interpret transplant-specific benefits.
• Initiate and support authorization and payer communications.
• Communicate financial status, requirements, and next steps to internal teams.
• Identify barriers to financial clearance and take action to resolve them.
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation to support continuity and compliance.
• Follow defined workflows to ensure completion of financial activities.
