Job summary

Keck Hospital of USC is seeking a Transplant Coordinator II to support a transplant program. You will manage donor offers, coordinate organ recovery with surgeons, and oversee 24/7 on-call coverage, ensuring compliant documentation and communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher with CA RN licensure.
• If Associate degree holder, must obtain BSN within two years of hire.
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience in organ donation or transplantation.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of medical procedures and immunosuppression management.

Responsibilities

• Takes and reviews donor organ offers and delegates to Donor Allocation Specialist.
• Coordinate organ recovery with transplant surgeons and donation team.
• Manage 24/7 on-call coverage on rotating schedule.
• Ensure accurate documentation and UNOS compliance across records.
• Facilitate patient listing and waitlist management.
