Job summary

The Iberdrola Group in Augusta, ME seeks a Lead Transmission Line Engineer to develop transmission construction and design standards for overhead and underground lines. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited college/university.
• 7+ years of engineering experience; 10 years preferred.
• Professional Engineer license desirable.
• Deep knowledge of electric transmission line engineering and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed engineering analyses, designs and calculations for transmission lines.
• Develop and specify equipment, constructs standards and related documents for complex tasks.
• Lead teams and mentor engineers in standards engineering methodology.
• Represent Standards on projects and industry associations.
• Coordinate project phases and manage programs per AVANGRID guidelines.
