Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Transmission Siting and Permitting Project Manager to oversee environmental permitting for electric transmission and renewable energy projects. This position involves both technical engagement and project management, emphasizing regulatory compliance and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing environmental projects and a bachelor's degree in a related field. The role is based in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Maryland, with an expected salary range of $140,000 to $200,000.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing environmental permitting and planning projects for energy-related infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while providing leadership and guidance to project teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including defining and managing client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct routing and siting studies and associated technical reports.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across various project phases.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, project budgets, schedules, and WSP policies.
