Job summary

The ideal candidate has extensive project management experience in the utility sector, strong stakeholder management, and a PMP certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree + 8 years related experience in construction/project management; or 12 years alternative.
• 3 years supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Strategic Transmission project portfolio and controls to meet scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk objectives.
• Directs project/program execution with governance, ensuring safe, timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Builds and develops a high-performing team through staffing, coaching and development.
• Directs development and administration of contracts, bid proposals, and safety program for contractors and staff.
• Oversees department operating budget, monitors expenditures and manages risks and variances.
• Maintains relationships with internal/external stakeholders to support portfolio objectives.
• Represents APS on programmatic matters and liaises with public affairs/regulatory initiatives.
• Conducts post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
