Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Energy Transmission Project Engineer to support the execution of electric transmission projects from planning through construction.

You will lead engineering activities, coordinate with PMs and multidisciplinary teams, and ensure scope, schedule, budget, and risks are well managed to meet client standards and KCI quality procedures. Responsibilities include evaluating transmission routing, performing design calculations, and coordinating with survey,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring engineering projects.
• Proven project management experience with successful delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to construction management, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and direct transmission projects.
• Design and prepare deliverables for multiple projects, ensuring timely completion within budgets.
• Supervise subordinate supervisors or team leaders.
• Conduct research in problem areas of scope and complexity.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance across practices and sub-consultants.
