Job summary
Black & Veatch seeks a Senior Structural – Transmission Line Engineer to support design engineering and analysis on transmission scopes, including large 345kV+ rebuild and greenfield projects with HVDC opportunities. You will collect data, perform calculations, develop equipment recommendations, and work within budget, schedule and quality requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum 11 years related work experience.
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, MVR) as applicable.
Responsibilities
- Proactively applies engineering standards and guides; provides technical guidance to others.
- Prepares complex engineering calculations and analyses for multi-discipline projects.
- Supports design engineering and analysis on transmission scopes and large 345kV+ rebuilds and greenfield projects.
- Maintains client relations and assists with business development as needed.
