Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Project Engineer to lead design and delivery of high‑voltage overhead transmission projects from a Boise, ID base with hybrid/remote options across Nampa, Portland, Billings, and Salt Lake City. Expect cross‑disciplinary coordination, schedule management, and strong client engagement.

The role emphasizes leadership in project engineering, QA/QC adherence, and mentoring staff, with travel to client sites and field facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years of post-education experience in transmission engineering and project leadership.
• Professional Engineering (PE) licensure; multi-state preferred.
• Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95; strong PLS-CADD knowledge.
• Proficient in English with strong written and oral communication; MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop initial project execution layouts and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients on project status and meetings.
• Lead project teams of varying sizes and mentor staff.
• Ensure QA/QC, safety, and adherence to standards; travel as needed.
