Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Lead Engineer to lead high-voltage transmission design projects in a hybrid Jacksonville, FL environment.

The role requires PE certification, 10+ years of field experience, and expert use of PLS-CADD to guide line routing, design, and construction support. You will mentor a team and engage with clients while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• PE certification is required.
• 10+ years of transmission line engineering experience in electric utility.
• Extensive PLS-CADD experience.
• Familiarity with NESC, IEEE, ASCE, ACI.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of engineers, technicians, and drafters.
• Communicate clear expectations, goals, and vision.
• Manage performance and delegate project work.
• Motivate, coach and mentor team members.
• Manage projects, ensure quality and on-time delivery.
