Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of practicing engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• Expert in engineering theories and principles.
• Expert in researching and evaluating design issues, and making sound recommendations.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership within the utility industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership and mentorship.
• Review work of subordinate engineers.
• Offer technical leadership at corporate/industry level.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve engineering problems.
• Plan, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities.
• Produce accurate technical reports, correspondence, calculations, and sketches.
• Pursue continuous improvement of professional knowledge and skills.
• Maintain accurate records and files.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
