Zusammenfassung

NV5 is seeking a Sr. Transmission Line Engineer to lead overhead transmission line projects across Texas and the Southeast US. The role emphasizes client leadership, QA/QC, and design of transmission lines and substations with PLS software tooling.

You will serve as client technical lead, expand existing relationships, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

Qualifikationen

BS degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
10+ years progressive experience in overhead transmission line projects with QA/QC.
P.E. registration is required.
Experience with PLS-CADD/PLS-POLE/MFAD/L-Pile; PLS-TOWER is a plus.

Aufgaben

Act as the responsible engineer and client point of contact for power delivery projects.
Increase the volume of overhead line work with existing clients.
Assist in marketing, promotion and business development efforts to add new regional clients.
Prepare, review, and P.E. seal technical calculation reports and construction documents.
Travel to client sites as needed and mentor junior staff.
