Westinghouse is seeking a Transmission Line Principal Engineer via WECTEC Staffing Services in Juno Beach, FL. This 1-year contract role focuses on managing the design of transmission lines for wind, solar, and storage projects.

Remote work is possible for the right candidate, with travel in North America. You will coordinate with consultants, secure resources, and guide the line-design scope from conception through execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 7+ years in development, design, engineering, and construction of HV transmission line projects.
• Ability to understand one-line and three-line diagrams and related deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Manage design by consultants for transmission lines and stand-alone projects.
• Coordinate with Early Stage Project Manager to define requirements and scope.
• Source and manage engineering resources from approved suppliers.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to secure route, data and permits for design and build.
