Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an Engineer - Level 3 - Senior for Transmission Line projects. The role is onsite in Juno Beach, FL, with a 1-year contract.

You will manage design from concept to construction, coordinating with consultants and the ISC group to secure routes, permits, and deliverables. The position requires 7+ years of HV transmission line experience, knowledge of transmission design, and proficiency in tools such as PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, Primavera, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil/structural engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of direct experience in HV transmission line development, design, engineering and construction.
• Strong knowledge of transmission design and ability to read one-line and three-line diagrams.
• Willingness to travel within North America.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design of transmission line projects from conception through execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams and consultants to develop routes and required permits.
• Source and manage engineering consulting resources (geotechnical, survey, engineering, construction).
• Deliverables include Issued for Bid, Issued for Procurement, Issued for Construction, and As-built drawings.
• Present progress, issues, and risk mitigation to management.
