Job summary

Sargent & Lundy, located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to design and analyze transmission lines. This role allows for a hybrid work arrangement, offering flexibility with three days in the office and two remote.

The ideal candidate will have a degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program and at least 3 years of experience in transmission line engineering. The position includes a generous relocation package and competitive health benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience in transmission line engineering.
• Experience with design techniques and technical plans.
• Familiarity with design codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design transmission lines in the 69kV to 765kV range.
• Perform structural analysis and design of various structures.
• Develop cost estimates and specifications for procurement.

Skills

Proficiency with PLS-CADD

Bilingual in Spanish and English

Structural analysis

Communication skills

Knowledge of engineering principles
