The Sustainable Partnership is representing a leading US IPP (backed by one of the largest energy companies in North America) that develops, owns and operates utility-scale renewables and energy storage projects.
This role covers transmission, interconnection, market and policy work across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage greenfield sites and acquisitions through to late-stage execution and assets already in operation. The focus is mainly the Western US, with some exposure to Eastern markets.
You will manage interconnection requests and study processes, run and review power flow analysis to understand upgrade costs, help identify the best markets and zones for new development, support M&A diligence on transmission and congestion risk, and work with engineering, utilities and CAISO to get advanced projects over the line, including negotiating interconnection agreements.
