GS2 in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Transmission & Interconnection Engineer to own interconnection studies from request to system impact recommendations. You will evaluate new generation and large-load projects and influence how they connect to the Texas grid.

This hybrid, hands-on role offers direct engagement with ERCOT, interconnecting entities, and neighboring TSPs, with a core focus on delivering actionable engineering results and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Formación

• Hands-on experience in transmission/interconnection studies.
• Familiarity with ERCOT standards and regional interconnections.
• Strong ability to manage multiple studies with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate interconnection requests and identify system impacts and upgrades.
• Conduct steady-state, short-circuit, and stability studies for decisions.
• Engage with interconnecting entities, ERCOT, and neighboring TSPs.
• Provide technical recommendations shaping connections to the grid.
