Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a Transition Manager to serve as the primary liaison for moving requirements from legacy contracts to a new program. The role oversees every aspect of the transition and ensures seamless transfer of SOW requirements, with weekly status reviews with the Sponsor.

The position requires extensive experience in software transitions, ITIL/Agile/CMMI, and leading cross-functional teams. This is a fully on-site role, five days a week, aligned with program needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of experience in managing transitions for software applications.
• Experience analyzing complex technical issues and developing effective solutions.
• Minimum three years of experience with IT service management frameworks and methodologies (ITIL, Agile, and/or CMMI).
• Experience managing cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and infrastructure specialists.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance and be Day 1 eligible for access.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for transitioning requirements from legacy contracts to the new program.
• Oversee all aspects of the transition and conduct weekly reviews with the Sponsor.
• Role is temporary and on-site five days per week during transition periods.
