Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a Transition Manager to lead the transfer of SOW requirements from legacy contracts to the new program, coordinating with sponsors and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget transitions that meet quality standards.

This on-site, five-days-per-week role requires close collaboration with developers, testers and infrastructure staff, weekly status reviews, risk mitigation, and clear communication to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in managing transitions for software applications.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience analyzing complex technical issues and developing effective solutions.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience with IT service management frameworks and methodologies (ITIL, Agile, CMMI).
• Certified Scrum Master
• Minimum five (5) years in managing transitions for large-scale software applications for enterprise-level systems
• Must have TS/SCI W/FSP day 1

Responsibilities

• Transition Manager serves as primary contact for transitioning requirements from legacy contracts to the new program and oversees the transition.
• Oversees all aspects of the transition and conducts weekly sponsor reviews to track status and progress.
