Job summary

MEPPI is seeking a technical lead to support proposal development and translate customer requirements into integrated commercial offerings for transit system products and services. You will interface with multiple departments, coordinate with MELCO and subcontractors, and contribute to technical scopes and market insights.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with at least 6 years in transit sales support, strong written and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 6 years of experience in sales support in the transit industry or related fields or equivalent education and experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of transit industry product lines.
• Advanced written communications skills.
• Intermediate interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships with diverse customer and supplier groups.
• Intermediate skills in negotiating terms and conditions with customers.
• Intermediate ability to analyze technical products and market need to arrive at an appropriate product roadmap.
• Intermediate ability to read and understand technical drawings and related materials.

Responsibilities

• Interface with management and related staff to support all technical proposals.
• Review customer specifications and bid documentation to develop compliant proposals.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and subcontractors for technical involvement and responses.
• Support customer-facing clarifications of technical aspects of proposals.
• Assist in developing technical scopes to supply a solution or product configuration.
• Represent MEPPI at industry events to gather insights and promote solutions.
