Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. seeks a technical lead to support proposal development and translate customer requirements into integrated, commercial offerings.

The role interfaces with MELCO overseas Marketing, QA, Procurement, Operations, Field Service, Programs, and Engineering to ensure compliant technical proposals. You will prepare technical proposals in response to inquiries, bid requests, RFPs, and RFQs, review specifications, and coordinate internal bid reviews.

Qualifications

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 6 years of sales-support experience in the transit industry or related fields.
• Strong written communication skills are required.
• Ability to maintain relationships with diverse customer and supplier groups.

Responsibilities

• Interface with management and staff to support technical proposals.
• Prepare and submit technical proposals for transit system products and services.
• Review customer specs and bid docs to develop compliant proposals.
• Coordinate internal bid review processes and supporting documentation.
• Engage with MELCO and subcontractors for technical responses.
• Support sales by clarifying technical aspects of proposals.
