Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Transit Safety Security Specialist V to lead project tasks across the United States, emphasizing risk management per FTA standards and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will guide multi-disciplinary teams and senior staff while delivering on critical transit safety and security programs.

Responsibilities include developing safety analyses, facilitating workshops, and producing control documents, with a focus on PTASP and SSO compliance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Valid driver's license is required, with ability to pass MVR check as per policy.
• Public Transportation Safety Certification (PTSCTP/TSSP) preferred; CSP and other safety certs are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Development of PHAs/TVAs and mitigations.
• Holding workshops with multi-disciplinary groups/committees.
• CEL/CIL Development.
• Development of DCCCs/CSCCs.
• Direct interaction with agency clients and project managers.
• SSC document and report preparation.
• PTASP development, annual reviews, and updates.
• SSC peer reviews.
• SSC training for internal and external clients.
