Job summary

AECOM seeks a Transit Safety Security Specialist to lead project tasks for clients across the United States with risk management processes from FTA and industry standards from APTA.

The ideal candidate will be well-organized, self-starting, able to guide multi-disciplinary teams, and possess PTSCTP/TSSP, CSP, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a clearance. Relocation not offered. Day‑1 onboarding required.

Qualifications

• Public Transportation Safety Certification (PTSCTP) and/or TSSP.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to pass MVR check and obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Development of PHAs/TVAs and mitigations.
• Lead multi-disciplinary workshops.
• Develop CEL/CIL and DCCC/CSCCs.
• Interact with agency clients and project managers.
• Prepare SSC documents and reports.
• Develop and review PTASP and annual updates.
• Lead SSC peer reviews and training.
