Job summary

STV is seeking a Project Manager in Maryland to lead a signature transit modernization program. The role focuses on delivering complex transportation projects through design-build and alternative delivery methods, coordinating with agencies and stakeholders, and ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, 10+ years of progressive leadership in transportation infrastructure, and experience with MTA/MDOT/FTA-funded programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience leading complex transportation, transit, rail, light rail, or major infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated success leading projects for public transportation agencies such as MTA, MDOT, or FTA-funded programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage design-build teams within an owners representative role through engineering, construction, and closeout.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, technical delivery, and partner coordination.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across transit, rail, civil, structural, systems, stations, utilities, power, traffic, and construction.
• Apply design-build and alternative delivery methods, including progressive design-build and design-build.
• Coordinate with MTA, local jurisdictions, utilities, community stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams to keep the program moving.
• Serve as a trusted client partner with clear communication and steady leadership.
