Job summary

Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Maintenance Manager to lead mechanics, bus washers, and staff in a three‑shift setting. You will supervise training, safety, and performance while guiding preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure DOT and company standards are met.

The role emphasizes budget control, parts management, and cross‑department communication to keep operations running smoothly. Prior supervisory experience and a CDL Class B are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• CDL Class B with passenger and airbrake endorsements preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in repair and maintenance of heavy‑duty equipment.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Broad understanding of mechanical systems in heavy‑duty vehicles.
• Knowledge of safety regulations for maintenance facilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff, hire/train/evaluate, manage PTO and time sheets.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs, coordinate with parts and operations.
• Manage budget and spare parts inventory, forecast material needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards across the facility.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems.
