Active Day seeks a Driver to operate and maintain mobility buses, assisting members with on- and off-boarding and escorting them door-to-door in various weather conditions. The role includes safe, courteous transport to centers and medical appointments, with a focus on member health and happiness.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspections, maintenance, and keeping accurate records, plus professional communication with members, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and state/vehicle-specific credentials.
• Pass required background checks including DOT medical exam.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and follow maintenance and fueling schedule.
• Assist members with on- and off-boarding and during transport.
• Maintain vehicle information and records.
• Communicate professionally with members, families, referral agencies, and staff.
• Comply with safety laws and company policies.
• Identify and implement operational efficiencies to enhance member experience.
