Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. seeks a Production Technician IV with transformer expertise to execute repair and refurbishment in our Charlotte factory.

You will develop procedures, train technicians, and create documentation and checklists, drawing on extensive transformer manufacturing experience and strong QA knowledge. The role emphasizes hands-on service operations, troubleshooting, and adhering to EH&S policies while coordinating factory setup and supporting the start-up phase of our new facility

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transformer manufacturing experience, 15 years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience training others and communicating in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform transformer service operations including troubleshooting, repairs, brazing, crimping and QA adherence.
• Diagnose issues, propose procedural improvements, ensure high-quality transformer performance.
• Communicate project scope, status, safety reviews and incident reporting.
• Train less-experienced technicians in safe operation and specialized tasks.
• Rigger for transformer movements and maintain tools through inspections and repairs.
• Follow EH&S policies and support production, safety and material-handling duties.
