Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Field Advisor to lead field service activities, supervise crews, and ensure quality and safety on transformer projects. The role involves coordinating resources, maintaining project budgets, and communicating with site contacts.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% is required, with responsibilities spanning on-site assembly, service, and repair in substations and power plants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field service assembly, maintenance and repair in electrical transformers/ accessories.
• Supervisory experience directing crews and subcontractors.
• Experience with transformer oil processing and electrical testing.

Responsibilities

• Direct crews and vendors to comply with standards and project scope.
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate heavy equipment, vehicles and tools for field work.
• Maintain clear site communication and document changes and safety incidents.
• Manage installation sequences and ensure warranty compliance.
