Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 7–9 years of PM experience in financial services, strong leadership, and stakeholder management. Proficiency with MS Project or Jira and familiarity with Agile methods are required; a Master’s or PMP/PRINCE2 is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related field.
• Master's degree or PMP/PRINCE2 certification is highly advantageous.
• 7–9 years of project management experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience managing transformation projects in Welkom or the Free State preferred.
• Deep understanding of banking, insurance, or investment management processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of strategic transformation projects.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate with business units, IT, compliance, and external vendors.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues; implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, and reviews.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (FAIS, FICA) and internal governance.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Drive process improvements and adoption of new technologies.
• Oversee change management activities, including training plans.
