Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Project Manager to lead IT system implementations and upgrades for a major financial institution in Welkom. You will manage end-to-end delivery across scoping, planning, execution, testing and deployment, collaborating with IT, business stakeholders and vendors.

The role requires deep financial systems knowledge, PMP or Agile credentials, 6–8 years of PM experience in financial services, strong leadership and communication, and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Finance or a related field.
• PMP or Agile certification preferred.
• 6–8 years in project management for IT in financial services.
• Strong banking/finance tech experience and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
