Job summary

PrideNow is seeking a Senior Transformation Engineer to drive CNC process optimization across multiple sites in the East Aurora area. The role involves implementing automation, leading Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and supporting NPI and process validation with travel to nearby facilities.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering degree and 3–7+ years in machining environments, with strong GD&T and blueprint reading skills and aerospace experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7+ years of experience in machining or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and tooling.
• Experience with GD&T and technical blueprint reading.
• Aerospace and defense manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality management systems preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations is a plus.
• Ability to travel between manufacturing facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize CNC machining processes (milling, turning, grinding).
• Create and maintain work instructions, routers, and process documents.
• Lead cycle time reduction, cost savings, and yield improvements.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) and process validation.
• Implement automation and robotics to improve manufacturing operations.
• Provide engineering support across multiple facilities and standardize processes.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer specs, and regulations.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze production data to reduce scrap, rework, and downtime.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and PM teams.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and capital equipment selection/installation.
