Job summary

Rand Machine Products seeks a Sr Transformation Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize CNC machining processes across multiple facilities supporting aerospace and defense programs. You will drive process standardization, data-driven improvements, and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.

The role requires collaboration with Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Program Management, plus travel between sites to support projects and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related)
• 3–7+ years of experience in machining/manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and tooling
• Experience with GD&T and blueprint reading

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve CNC machining processes (milling, turning, grinding)
• Create and maintain work instructions, routers, and process documentation
• Drive cycle time reduction, cost savings, and yield improvement initiatives
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation
• Lead or support Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma initiatives
