You will oversee tooling decisions, programming with CAD/CAM, and process improvements across production lines.

The role requires 3–5 years of CNC experience, a mechanical engineering background, and proficiency in G Code and CAD/CAM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in CNC machining or process engineering
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming, machining techniques, and CAD/CAM tools
• Ability to analyze process data and identify inefficiencies
• Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and refine CNC machining processes.
• Select cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and parameters for optimal performance.
• Reduce cycle times, scrap, and rework through continuous improvement.
• Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, G Code.
• Develop detailed process plans and work instructions for operators.
• Ensure proper tooling design and setup for precision machining.
• Collaborate with Quality Control for first-piece inspections.
• Apply SPC and root cause analysis for defects.
• Diagnose machining issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to production teams and operators.
• Train staff on CNC processes and best practices.
• Create and maintain process documentation including work instructions and PFMEA
• Support to implement lean manufacturing principles
• Collect and analyze data to implement improvements (cycle time, efficiency).
