Job summary

Elliott Davis in Colorado is seeking a Transaction Advisory Services professional to join our fast-growing TAS practice. You will perform buy-side and sell-side due diligence for private equity and strategic buyers, analyzing large data sets and communicating findings to clients.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in audit or transactions, a bachelor's degree, and a CPA preference. Strong Excel, GAAP knowledge, and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in audit or transaction services.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• CPA license preferred.
• Big 4, national or large regional firm experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Aptitude towards business development.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting issues.
• Ability to travel to client locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for private equity, mezzanine funds, and strategic buyers.
• Analyze large volumes of data to prepare an Excel data book focusing on earnings, debt, and working capital.
• Evaluate financial and operational trends of target companies.
• Lead sections of due diligence meetings with target management.
• Create tailored reports on key issues such as normalized earnings and indebtedness considerations.
• Communicate due diligence findings clearly in reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with Elliott Davis teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Build productive client relationships.
