Job summary

Elliott Davis is seeking a senior Transaction Advisory Services professional to lead financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side engagements. You will perform quality of earnings, debt and working capital analysis, and develop tailored reports for private equity and strategic buyers.

You will guide target analysis, communicate findings clearly, mentor staff, and contribute to client development. A CPA is preferred and Big 4 experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in transaction advisory; at least five years overall professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; CPA preferred.
• Big 4, national or large regional firm experience is beneficial.
• Proven leadership of buy-side and sell-side engagements in lower to middle market.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong Excel needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams performing financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side engagements.
• Perform quality of earnings, debt and working capital analysis.
• Understand target business and key performance drivers; challenge assumptions.
• Create tailored due diligence reports on issues like normalized earnings and indebtedness.
• Communicate findings clearly in reports and verbally; mentor the team.
• Lead business development efforts and oversee engagement economics.
