Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Transaction Services within Financial Advisory in Portland. You will deliver due diligence and advisory services for private equity funds, banks and corporate clients across industries.

The role requires a CPA or progress toward one, 3+ years in diligence or TS, and strong financial modeling with Excel. Expect autonomous work, tight deadlines, and collaborative client interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required and a CPA designation preferred.
• At least three (3) years of relative experience, ideally in a mid to large professional services firm.
• At least two (2) years of transaction services / due diligence experience highly preferred.
• Professional designations or candidacy (CFE, CFA, etc.) and/or an advanced degree are a plus.
• High motivation, initiative and positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Intermediate modeling and Excel skills with data-driven analysis capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment with client personnel.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with Partners on client and engagement management.
• Data gathering, document review and preparation of quality of earnings reports.
• Research and financial analysis of target companies.
• Due diligence for buy side, sell side, and corporate finance transactions.
• Communicate with clients to ensure delivery of exceptional service.
• Participate in marketing and recruiting activities of the firm.
