Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Senior Consultant to support the Transaction Services practice within Financial Advisory. You will deliver due diligence and transaction advisory services to clients including private equity, banks, and portfolio companies.

The role involves interaction with partners, data gathering, financial analysis, and overseeing quality of earnings reports. Ideal candidates have CPA or equivalent, 3+ years in advisory, and strong Excel modeling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required and a CPA designation are preferred.
• At least three (3) years of relative experience in a mid to large size professional services firm.
• At least two (2) years of transaction services / due diligence experience highly preferred.
• Professional designations or candidacy (CFE, CFA, etc.) and/or an advanced degree are a plus.
• High motivation, initiative and positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills with multitasking ability.
• Intermediate modeling and Excel skills with data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with Partners on client and engagement management.
• Data gathering, document review and quality of earnings reports prep.
• Research and financial analysis of target companies.
• Due diligence for buy side, sell side, and corporate finance transactions.
• Communicate with clients to ensure exceptional service.
• Participate in marketing and recruiting activities for the firm.
• Career development opportunities within the transaction advisory group.
