Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, data analytics, finance or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
• Three or more years of relevant experience in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, quality of earnings, M&A advisory, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and applying accounting concepts.
• CPA licensure or progress toward licensure or MBA preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
• Strong Excel proficiency; data organization, lookups, pivots and data analysis.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervisors to support clients across financial and operational analyses and consulting projects.
• Lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence and quality of earnings engagements as experience permits.
• Coordinate with internal teams to collect data and support final reports and recommendations.
• Prepare reports describing methodologies, findings and recommendations with research support.
• Identify trends, inconsistencies, risks and opportunities in client financial information.
• Analyze revenue, gross margins, EBITDA, working capital, net debt and cash flow.
• Prepare due diligence workbooks, EBITDA bridges, working capital analyses and schedules.
• Reconcile financial information from ledgers, tax returns, bank records and reports.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently ensuring timely delivery.
• Support business valuation engagements with analyses, forecasts and comparables.
• Assist with estate and wealth-transfer engagements including cash flow and net worth projections.
• Build and update financial models to support decisions.
• Contribute to strategic planning with analyses and recommendations.
• Collaborate with tax, audit, valuation and estate planning teams for integrated solutions.
• Maintain professionalism and client confidentiality in all engagements.
• Conduct research on accounting, tax, industry and business matters.
