Job summary

Doeren Mayhew is looking for a hands‑on Manager or Senior Manager to lead the tax consulting practice within the Transaction Advisory Services Group. This role involves overseeing tax aspects of M&A transactions, including tax due diligence and post-close tax planning.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax matters and will be adept at advising clients throughout the deal lifecycle. The position may allow remote work with occasional travel to the Troy, Michigan office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with 3 years of Transaction Advisory experience required.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in U.S. federal tax and transaction structuring.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead buy‑side and sell‑side tax due diligence engagements.
• Advise clients on tax consequences of various transaction structures.
• Prepare and present tax due diligence reports and technical memoranda.
