Job summary

Akina, Inc. seeks a Systems Engineer/SME to support training design, development, and delivery for operators and analysts at Fort Meade, MD. You will develop curricula, review JQS/TQS, and provide hands-on support in mission-focused environments.

A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Eight years SE experience and a BS in a related field are needed; the role offers a generous package with 24 PTO days, 11 federal holidays, 401(k) vesting, and comprehensive healthcare.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of SE experience in similarly scoped programs.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering or related field; four years may substitute for degree.
• Experience developing and delivering technical training and instructional materials.
• Knowledge of JQS/TQS and training pipelines aligned to mission requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical training curriculum, course materials, and hands-on exercises.
• Instruct, coach, and mentor students and junior personnel as SME.
• Review and develop JQS and TQS to reflect mission needs.
• Create and maintain training pipelines with measurable milestones.
• Provide systems engineering expertise and documentation support to stakeholders.
