Job summary

Akina Inc. seeks a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems in a TS/SCI environment at Fort Meade, MD. You will work on ingestion processing and component development as part of a core team.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Provides input to software components of system design including hardware/software trade offs and use of COTS/GOTS when suitable.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
