Job summary

VCU Health in Richmond, VA seeks a Senior Training Specialist to design and evaluate system-wide training and development programs for employees and leaders. This role advises management on training strategies aligned with our mission and culture, and collaborates with the Training and Development Manager on needs assessments.

You will develop curricula, create content, market events, and deliver or arrange delivery of training while evaluating outcomes; New Employee Orientation is led bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• Five years of general experience in Human Resources, or two years of professional level experience in training and staff development.
• SPHR or PHR certification preferred for hire; current SPHR/PHR preferred for continued employment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Adult Education, Human Resources Management, Healthcare Administration or related field.
• Master's Degree in Adult Education, Human Resources Management, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities
