Job summary

First Coast Security Solutions seeks a Training Instructor /Quality Control Monitor to deliver firearms training, supervise field activities, and manage quality control for a federal contract in the Atlanta area. You will conduct classroom and range training, evaluate trainee performance, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

The role requires two+ years of training or security supervision, active firearms credentials, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and read, write, and speak English.
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years of training and field supervision experience in civilian community law enforcement, military service law enforcement, or commercial/industrial security force service.
• Certified Firearms Instructor (NRA, POST, FLETC, DOD, or equivalent)
• Current certifications in First Aid, CPR/AED, Defensive Tactics, Handcuffing, Baton, OC Spray, and Firearms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct required training programs for new hires and current employees.
• Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities for program effectiveness.
• Offer specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills; develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
• Organize and develop, or obtain, training procedure manuals and course materials such as handouts and visual materials.
• Present information using instructional techniques or formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.
• Evaluate training materials prepared by instructors, such as outlines, text, or handouts.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections to include security screening operations at federal facilities.
• Provide instruction for new hires and current employees as required to maintain and improve marksmanship skills.
• Responsible for all aspects of quality control under the contract.
• Monitor compliance with contract requirements, post orders, and training requirements.
• Identify operational deficiency and provide recommendation for corrective action.
• Assist with internal audits.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation related to quality assurance.
• Develop and enforce QA/QC plans to ensure quality.
• Develop an inspection process based on the contract requirements while performing and documenting inspections, analyzing the resulting data, and submitting the data to the Director of Quality Control.
