Job summary

Government Technical Services Corporation is seeking a Training & Facilitation Specialist to support NOAA/NESDIS leadership with training coordination, facilitation, and organizational learning. The role is based in Silver Spring, MD, with a hybrid work schedule and collaboration across workforce engagement initiatives.

The candidate should have a 10–15+ year track record in training, facilitation, workforce engagement, and organizational development, plus knowledge of federal workforce

Qualifications

• BA/BS or MA/MS in Education, Organizational Management, Human Capital Management, Communications, or related field
• 10–15+ years of experience in training, facilitation, workforce engagement, organizational development, or learning initiatives
• Understanding of Federal workforce development and organizational learning practices
• Executive facilitation and training coordination skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Strong organizational awareness
• Ability to support multiple concurrent workforce initiatives

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver professional development courses and learning materials aligned with NESDIS priorities
• Facilitate training events using established behavioral assessment tools and methodologies
• Coordinate leadership development activities and workforce engagement initiatives
• Support planning and facilitation of offsite meetings, workshops, and strategic engagement sessions
• Develop facilitation scripts, executive briefing materials, training content, and organizational learning documentation
• Support succession planning and workforce development initiatives
• Coordinate logistics, materials, scheduling, and communications for training events
• Assist with workforce communications and executive briefings supporting workforce initiatives
