Job summary

Five Rivers Analytics (FRA), an Akima company, seeks a Training Developer III in Colorado Springs to design, develop, and maintain SCN courseware and assessments. You will produce lesson plans, tests, and performance-based scenarios aligned with ISD standards and RSP requirements, collaborating with training leads and using MTLS, RTMs, and APOIs.

You will also design evaluations, update curriculum trackers, and ensure adherence to ISD models per DAFMAN 36-2675, with emphasis on clear objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related discipline.
• 5-7 years of courseware development, instructional design, or curriculum development experience.
• Working knowledge of Instructional Systems Development (ISD) methodology.
• Strong technical writing and content development skills.
• Active SECRET security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Review, revise, and create SCN courseware materials, lesson plans, student guides, presentations, and handouts in accordance with MTLs, RTMs, and APOIs.
• Adhere strictly to the ISD model as defined in DAFMAN 36-2675.
• Develop clear, measurable lesson plan objectives aligned with RSP goals.
• Design, update, and maintain examinations, progress checks, and performance-based evaluation scenarios, including mission-based simulator scripts.
• Document curriculum changes to unit training leads via email, briefings, and trackers.
